Micrographica announces a new major release of its innovative scientific imaging software. Micrographica version 2.0 is the first commercial microscopy software available on three major OS platforms – Windows, Mac OSX and Linux.
Windows and Mac OSX versions can be downloaded here: http://www.micrographica.com/buy&download.htm. Linux version is available upon request.
New features and properties compared to previous versions:
•   Faster, more efficient internal engine with threaded image processing which drastically improves performance on multi-core processors.
•   Multi-platform support (Windows, Mac OSX, Linux).
•   Improved user interface with animated docking and enhanced drag/drop features.
•   Enhanced and improved image file format support  (.jpg, .jp2, .tif, .tga, .png, .bmp, .exr, .hdr, .jpf, .mng, .pbm, .pcd, .pcx, .pct, .pic, .ppm, .psd, .ras, .raw, .cr2, .sgi, .rgb, .jpeg, .pict, .tiff, .targa)
•   High dynamic range (HDR) image standalone composition.
•   Improved Nikon Instruments NIS ND2 file format support (Windows version only).
•   Multi-cell tracking and analysis.
•   Microscopy automation which supports multi-dimensional scanning including tiling, EDF and HDRI composition, or any combination of those (Windows version only)

We are pleased to announce that new version (1.7.0) of our Micrographica Scientific Imaging Software has been released.
The version has got several new features and improvements:
  • Automation module.
    Allows remote control of microscopy accessories (cameras, XYZ stages, shutters, filters). Accessories can be controlled manually or automatically via scanning. The scanning process can create large images (XY mosaic), EDF images (Z series), HDR images (multi exposure) or any combination of those.
  • Prior XYZ stages, shutters and filter wheel driver for automation module.
  • Nikon TiE XYZ stages, shutters and filter wheels driver for automation module.
  • Support for new Jenoptik ProgRes SpeedXt cameras.
  • Support for new DeltaPix Invenio II cameras.
  • Nikon NIS *.nd2 file format import.
  • Extended frame rate control for Jenoptik ProgRes cameras.
  • Advanced colour threshold filter.
    Replaces two previous filters: simple threshold and colour selector.
  • Minor bug fixes and improvements
The release will be ready for download from our web site on Monday 15.Nov.2010

We are pleased to announce that Micrographica version 1.6.0. has just been released and is available for commercial downloaded here.

Among others the new features include:

- Image stitching module (Mosaic).
- Support for Jenoptik ProgRes USB cameras.
- Support for Canon EOS 550D digital cameras.
- Unlimited image size support.
- Animated zooming in and out with smooth scaling.
- Thumbnail window for pan/scroll mode.
- Improved compatibility with Windows 7.
- Various performance improvements.
